We deliver safe, effective and excellent care to our clients in our short-term housing, making them feel safe and well supported.
How We Support Our Clients
Glanville House offers individuals experiencing, or at risk of, a mental health crisis a secure and recovery-oriented environment for a stay of up to three months. This service is designed to prevent hospital admission or facilitate early discharge, supporting individuals in their journey toward mental health recovery.
Our objective is to create a welcoming environment with a primary emphasis on:
• Providing emotional support and fostering resilience.
• Facilitating engagement in a variety of recreational and leisure activities, either directly offered by our service or through connections with other local support providers.
• Offering access to local resource directories and providing advice or signposting to assist individuals in accessing relevant services.
• Directing individuals to organizations that offer employment-related support.
• Assisting with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and gardening, to promote independence and well-being.
We will provide you with a personal support plan, developed with you at the start of the package, identifying the type of support needed in different areas of your life, and mapping out how we will help you to achieve these personal goals.
