Alert: Altair Healthcare Notice/Warning To Job Applicants - It has come to our attention that there are fraudulent organisations, including one called InterAcademyEnglish, which are falsely alleging on social media that they are subsidiaries of Altair Healthcare, or that they are an agency recruiting on behalf of Altair Healthcare. These fraudsters are promising candidates care jobs in the UK, and asking them to pay to get care jobs. This is a scam. We have no subsidiaries, we do not use agencies for recruitment, and we are not affiliated with any organisation. We do our own recruitment, and we only accept job applications made via this website.

  • Proof of professional registration, if applicable (e.g Statement of Entry)
  • Qualifications
  • CV
  • Proof of indemnity insurance (applies to all applicants, including HCAs and care workers)
  • Proof of immunisations, including proof of COVID vaccination
  • Mandatory training certificates (including practical PMVA, Moving & Handling, Fire Safety, Basic Life Support, Immediate Life Support)
  • Proof of address (2 documents dated within the last 3 months)

Our Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process involves the following:

  • Recruitment and selection - We conduct face-to-face interviews and assessment for competency.
  • Compliance - We carry out compliance checks at recruitment and annually afterwards.
  • Staff training - We provide mandatory training, including PMVA and all relevant training for all our staff.
  • Induction - We provide induction to train staff on our service, regulatory and legal requirements, as well as our clients' needs.
  • Checks & Validation - We validate staff qualifications, referees and Criminal Records Bureau checks.

How we use your information

We collect and use relevant information about you to provide you with work and training, and to meet our legal/contractual obligations.

Your information may be shared with 3rd parties including healthcare providers, Local Authorities, sub-contractors, regulators, law enforcement agencies, fraud and crime prevention and detection agencies.

We will only disclose your personal information in connection with providing you work and to the extent required or permitted by law.
